Doug joined Swisher Commercial in 1991 after eight years as the head of commercial sales at Edward Surovell Co. Realtors of Ann Arbor. Doug is Vice President and a partner of Swisher Commercial. Doug has participated in a diverse range of real estate development activities, including acquisition and renovation of residential and commercial income properties, downtown office rehabs, new office construction, and residential subdivision development. He specializes in the sale and leasing of office, retail, and industrial properties as well as the sale of income and apartment properties. Doug holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation and acts as a consultant to private and institutional clients in property selection, evaluation, and acquisition. He works extensively with non-profit organizations. Doug is active in professional organizations, including the Ann Arbor Area Chamber and the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors, where he has served as a director and chair or member of many committees.
