Julie M. Augustyn is a recognized innovator and leader in retail real estate. She has a deep understanding of key retail markets such as South Florida, Atlanta and the Carolinas. Her involvement in the real estate tech community, will provide additional services to Foundry Commercial clients. Prior to joining Foundry Commercial, Julie was the senior director of real estate for Office Depot, where she was responsible for managing the retail portfolio for Office Depot and OfficeMax brands for the Eastern United States. This included managing her team with a portfolio of over 700 stores in 20+ states. At Woolbright Development, Inc., a south Florida based real estate investment company she was Development Manager. Julie was responsible for planning and obtaining approvals for 850,000 sf of retail and lifestyle center development. Upon completion of her degree, she worked as a Civil Engineer in Florida and Texas for Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. Julie transitioned to the role of site selection and store development while at RaceTrac Petroleum, Inc. Julie Augustyn is an active member and regional panelist for International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Additionally, she currently serves on University of Florida Real Estate Advisory Board as well as the City of Raleigh - Retail Task Force. Real Estate Forum recently named her to Top Women in Retail (May 2016). For South by Southwest (SXSW 2016) she hosted Connected Retail: Clicks & Mortar Meet up. Julie was named by Duke Long to list of “Top 10 Most Influential Online Commercial Real Estate People 2015” and serves as a CRE//Tech Intersect advisor.
