Therese O’Brian joined Newmark Associates as an accomplished sales and marketing executive with over twenty years of success in business development and team building. As Director of Sales with ALM Media, LexisNexis, and Thomson Reuters, she created innovative content marketing strategies, utilizing emerging technology to generate leads, acquire customers and build their brands. As head of Real Estate for NJ Advance Media, Therese developed cross- channel marketing campaigns for Office, Industrial and Multi-family property owners including Mack-Cali, SJP Properties, Le Frak and Advance Realty; several of which won industry association awards for most innovative digital marketing campaigns. With an advanced degree in Digital Marketing and Certifications in Digital Data and Analytics, Therese provides her clients with the ability to strategically identify and engage with the most qualified buyers and tenants. Therese is an active member of several CRE industry associations including CREW Network, NAIOP, NJBIA, and NRBP. She currently serves as the Co-Chair of CREW-NJ’s PR Committee, CREW-NY’s Member Recognition Committee, and NJBIA’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. In these roles, she engages with Industry Leaders to develop Press Releases, Content Marketing Strategy, and Award Nominations for Members and Sponsor Organizations. Throughout her career, Therese has earned a reputation as a creative problem solver and advocate for her clients; understanding their needs and working tirelessly to produce results. She is an artful leader bringing imagination and creativity to each negotiation. Therese resides in Union County, New Jersey with her husband and together, they have six adult children. She enjoys domestic and international travel, exploring diverse cultures and cooking. An avid fitness buff, she pursues cycling, cardio, barre, yoga and paddle boarding.
