Full Bio: I was born in Denver Colorado, attended public schools. Served in the U.S. Army in Germany and Vietnam, after the service I attended Metro State College and the University of Denver. I and my wife purchased a retail lumber and hardware store in Kremmling, Colorado. After selling the lumber yard we built a restaurant and operated it for two years. After closing the restaurant, I went to work for Hutchinson Homes in Denver in the commercial real estate division. I was vice-president and managed retail and office properties. My duties included property management and leasing. In addition Hutchinson was selling some of its residential and commercial land located in Aurora Colorado. In 1995 the retail property was sold. In 1993 I went back to the University of Denver and earned my MBA.
