Barbara Ellis-Racic, Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate Solutions, has over 19 years of experience negotiating complex real estate transactions. Ms. Ellis-Racic began her career in Chicago as a leasing agent for the 10 & 30 South Wacker complex in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Spanish Literature from the University of Illinois. After bringing the project to 92% leased, Ms. Ellis Racic Joined Collers Bennett where she acquired extensive analyzing and negotiating skills representing clients such as A.T. Kearney, Inc. and William Blair and company. She then focused exclusively on tenant representation in the office arena with Goldie B. Wolfe and Company and Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners. She then focused on larger clients at Cushman and Wakefield. Clients include: The Chubb Institute, Cisco Systems, REEF, Nabisco, Premier Inc. and HDR, Inc. Ms. Ellis-Racic joined Corporate Real Estate Solutions to address an underserved niche in the market: offering personalized service from a seasoned professional to the small and mid sized organization. Her areas of specialization include: healthcare, high-tech and service firms. Ms. Barbara Ellis-Racic is an active member of several professional and charitable organizations in Chicago. Barbara is a member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors; Chicago office leasing brokers association, Commercial real estate women, Healthcare financial managers association and Chicago Health Executives Network. These organizations provide open forums for discussions that keep its members current on commercial industry trends. Ms. Ellis-Racic is a Senior Instructor for SIOR and has appeared as a guest speaker for the Association of Accounting Administrators, SIOR, COLBA the University of Illinois, NICAR, and other groups. Ms. Ellis-Racic is also an active member of the civic community as a board member and president of the Joel Hall Dance Center and involvement with the Francis W. Parker School.
