TRANSWESTERN ROLE Micha A. van Marcke has over 16 years of transaction experience and 10 years of commercial real estate experience. Micha heads Retail Investments Sales and Agency Leasing for Transwestern’s Houston Office and provides Asset Advisory Services including asset strategy development and implementation. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS She is a turnaround specialist, highly skilled in crisis management and stabilization of distressed and REO assets. Her broad knowledge allows her to capitalize on underperforming assets and reposition them for increased profitability. Micha’s transactional experience spans the commercial real estate gamut from investment sales and project leasing to tenant representation and land sales. Honing her skills with a developer, and having an extensive finance background, she is able to provide assistance to landlords, developers, banks and special servicers as they maneuver the challenging real estate deal cycle from acquisition to divesture and all the steps in between. EDUCATION Micha has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters of Business Administration, finance concentration, from Rice University. Micha is also a CCIM Designee.
