In 1955, my father started this company because of his love for the land and the promise he saw in the the new communities that were springing up after the War. During the next 55 years, The Alter Group went from brokering raw land to building industrial and flex product around the burgeoning interstate highway system to developing the Class A, sustainable build-to-suit offices that multinational corporations demanded.
