Background on Yacht Power, Products, Inc.

Yacht Power Products was started by Michael Lloyd and his father, Richard Lloyd over 35 years ago. They started two guys in a truck doing basic marine, mechanical maintenance.

Shortly after going into business they quickly made a name for themselves. It wasn’t long before they purchased the building at 1510 1st Ave., North in Saint Pete.

They started small as a dealer for Onan generators. Right away they had the reputation as the place to go when you need generator/engine repairs. Since then they have gone from one dealership to seven and quickly turned Yacht Power Products into a business that does almost $1 million a year in sales.
