Before joining SVN, I was the principal of Retirement Investment Properties, a brokerage firm which specialized in the sale and leasing of seniors housing and care facilities.
After 20 years, I decided to join SVN as a Senior Advisor to enable me to network with its nationwide group of agents. I also wanted to broaden my specialty to include the medical office building product type. Seniors housing, care properties and medical office buildings are blending into one real estate investment class.
In the past 20 years, I successfully brokered Leasehold and Leased Fee transactions in 43 different cities including 56 seniors housing or care properties totaling over $100,000,000 in value.
In my healthcare specialty, I have represented a broad range of clients. These include institutional firms, lenders, publicly traded corporations, real estate investment trusts, the United States Bankruptcy Court, not-for-profit 501(c)(3)s, State of California counties, private equity firms, limited partnerships, regional companies, individual entities as well as individual owners/operators.
