Joe Larkin has been active in the commercial real estate industry for over 40-years. His experience includes portfolio real estate investment services, valuation and consulting and business (occupier) real estate services. His expertise is in transactional brokerage, real estate counseling, marketing, business development, and valuation services. Larkin specializes in corporate and investment real estate placing private equity from around the world in real estate investments in the United States. With a proven track record of value creation opportunities, Joe syndicated real estate opportunities and formed investment groups to acquire properties using favorable re-positioning strategies and focusing on adding value by improving near-term cashflow. One remarkably successful real estate investment was focused on the acquisition of portfolios of non-performing assets which resulted in achieving high yield returns on investor’s equity. With thousands of classroom hours of delivering content on a variety of topics, he is recognized as one of the top international trainers and speakers. Bringing real world experience and academia together, Joe develops and delivers basic and advanced real estate training to corporations and associations both in the classroom and online. He has trained over 6,000 students and delivered over 8,000 classroom hours of content. Topics include real estate negotiations; creating value with your brokerage company; raising money for investments through syndications; GAAP accounting and Federal Taxation; financial analysis; business development; transaction management; corporate real estate strategies, and market analytics. As a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute he has developed and delivered CCIM courses both domestically and internationally.
