As of 2015, the Coleman Land Company is celebrating its 75th year of serving the western suburbs of Chicagoland.

Mark Coleman, President and Managing Broker, has been actively engaged in the CRE brokerage since 1973 as partner of a four-generation family-owned business. He has cultivated the reputation as being professional, honest, loyal, caring and competent. Mark spent the early part of his career focusing on general brokerage and appraising. Appraisal valuation is a real estate niche his father, James Coleman Sr. MAI, developed in the 1960's. Working with an expert MAI gave Mark Coleman invaluable experience across a broad spectrum of property types including agricultural, multi-family, office and industrial, paving the way for a full and diverse real estate brokerage practice.

Today, he focuses on growing the Company and on his brokerage practice.

When asked what in commercial real estate he focuses on, he replies "commissions," speaking to the fact that in western suburban Chicagoland, it is wiser to maintain a general practice rather than to focus on a specific segment.

Mark has partnered on development of a large multi-million dollar office project, handled retail projects, served as landlord and tenant rep in leasing as well as large vacant land development transactions. Mark handles industrial and residential transactions as well.

Working over a broad spectrum of property types "keeps my practice fresh and every day is unique," he reports.
