Tuyen Nguyen joined CRER in May 2016 after a career success forged at Trandai Realty Commercial, where she was vice president since 2010. After graduating from Devry University in Chicago with a B.S. in Computer Information Systems in 2003, she was hired as a system administrator at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She later joined M2 Technology to provide IT consultant services to small businesses, all the while being actively involved in real estate. Tuyen's commercial background stems from her own property investments and family businesses. Over the years, her portfolio consists of small business acquisitions, multifamily, mixed use, office, retail, vacant land, religious institutions, and industrial. Tuyen is highly involved in helping the Asian community by providing consulting services to startup entrepreneurs facing language barriers and needing financial guidance. She works closely with a team of various professional backgrounds to prepare and mentor clients on commercial investments or small business startups. She is also involved with the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA) , where she has been serving as the Membership Chair since 2010, and is a member of the National Association of Asian American Professionals. Currently, she is pursuing her Certified Commercial Investment Member designation, which she expects to complete this year. CCIM designees are recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate who provide expertise in financial, market and investment analysis, in addition to negotiation skills.
