BACKGROUND & EXPERIENCE Dr. Jenny Li joined Sun Commercial Real Estate, Inc. in 2020 with emphasis on Investment Sales and Leasing. Dr. Li began her commercial real estate career in 2011 focusing on real estate acquisition, distressed real estate investment, landlord representation, leasing, operations management, commercial loan applications, contract negotiations and market research & analysis. Dr. Li is fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin and English. Having lived and studied in China as well as the United States, she understands the cultural and business differences and similarities between the two countries. This experience gives her a better grasp of Chinese and Asian investors’ interest and goals relating to the U.S. market. Dr. Li’s hands-on experience in property management, building maintenance and improvement projects provides buyers with the assurance of receiving reliable due diligence on every property or investment. She is also adept at utilizing online and remote presentation skills to provide clients with needed information about prospective properties. Dr. Li has earned an impeccable reputation with overseas and foreign investors. Before embarking on a career in real estate, Dr. Li worked in the research field focusing on finding a cure for cancer. She performed both stem cell and cancer cell research at the Illinois Institute of Technology and the Argonne National Lab. Dr. Li has three publications in peer reviewed scientific journals with high impact factors. The scientific field has taught Dr. Li the practice of always paying close attention to details, being patient, yet persistent and applying rational thinking. She is also the Secretary General of Federal Investment & Trade Promotion Association and North America Investment & Trade Association, USA branch. She is focused on promoting the association through investment opportunities, furthering employment growth and fostering cooperation between businesses in China, Canada and the United States. EDUCATION Dr. Jenny Li earned her Doctoral of Philosophy in Chemistry from Illinois Institute of Technology, with a Kilpatrick fellowship and Dean’s fellowship. Dr. Li also received her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Nankai University in China. OTHER INTERESTS Besides real estate investment, Jenny likes to spend time researching and investing in different financial markets, stocks and options, world travel, portrait and landscape photography, skiing and cooking. She resides in the Las Vegas area with her husband and young son where she enjoys the dry desert climate.
