I, Pete Helms, President and Owner of Davis R. Chant Realtors and a life long resident of Pike County, PA, hold Real Estate Broker licenses in Pennsylvania and New York State. My chief areas of expertise are residential properties and commercial properties. I have served my clients' real estate needs throughout Wayne County, Pike County and Monroe County for the past 49 years. I currently holds membership in the National Association of Realtors, Pennsylvania Association of Realtors and the Pike/Wayne Board of Realtors, for which I have served as a past President. In addition to my involvement in real estate, I am also President of Joybeck Builders, a construction company that I started around 1990. Fine examples of the upscale homes built by Joybeck can be seen throughout the Lake Region, and are especially showcased in Whispering Pines and Nemanie Village on Lake Wallenpaupack, two of the most desirable communities on the lake. I am actively involved in the community as well, and have served as a member of various organizations, including: Pike County Community Planning Board, Lake Wallenpaupack Watershed Committee, PPL Shoreline Committee, Director of Pike County Soil Conservation District, Life Director of the Pike County Builders Association, Wayne County Builders Association, Pike County Scenic Rural Character Preservation Boar Hawley-Lake Wallenpaupack Chamber of Commerce, Pike County Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the Pocono Mountain Vacation Bureau. Throughout my careers in real estate and building, I have conducted business with an eye to preserving the character and natural appeal of the Lake Region.
