As Principal of Commercial Properties Development Group (CPDG) with responsibility over Investment Sales, Leasing and Property Management, Beverly Keith, CCIM, CRX works with investors and developers to redefine CRE from the ground up! Beverly began her commercial real estate career in 1998 in CBRE’s Raleigh office, where she worked directly with the Managing Partner on development projects for a variety of institutional and private owners. After several years, Beverly transitioned into general brokerage and leasing, representing several prominent landlords and owners in the Triangle and Triad markets while with Trammell Crow Company. In 2005, Beverly became Divisional Real Estate Manager with the international retail cooperative Ace Hardware Corporation, and managed a new business development team to open more than 130 stores in 36 months within the 17 state Eastern Division. She was responsible for all commercial real estate activities for more than 800 individual Ace Hardware stores and their owners, including lease negotiations, business valuations, mergers, acquisitions, and the repositioning and dispositions of assets. In 2009, Beverly joined Rivercrest Realty Investors to focus on improving the tenant mix within the portfolio, and repositioning underperforming assets by implementing strategic plans to maximize property values. In 2012, Beverly transitioned to Trinity Partners to build the statewide Retail Services team delivering more than $15mm in retail sales transactions within two years. In 2014, Beverly was recruited to the new Avison Young - NC Raleigh office to develop a Retail Services Division for the Carolinas. After three years, the team had grown to seven brokers and were one of the top performing teams in North Carolina. In 2017, Beverly joined forces with Kate Tillman Brown, CCIM to open Commercial Properties Development Group (CPDG), a full service brokerage and development company located in Raleigh, NC. With a focus on "Redefining CRE from the Ground Up!" CPDG currently represents a variety of investors and manages their own CRE investment portfolio of 15 retail developments in the Carolinas. Beverly’s twenty one years of industry experience includes general brokerage, corporate real estate management, asset management, business development, property management, marketing, financial planning, construction project management, lease negotiation, and contract administration. Beverly brings in-depth knowledge about the specific needs of all levels of investors as well as a strong understanding of the region’s changing economic climate. She is a licensed Broker in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina, and holds the prestigious designation of Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). She serves on the Board of Directors for the CCIM Institute and is on the Executive Committee for NC-CCIM (North Carolina State Chapter), having been elected President of in 2018. Beverly is an active member of CCIM, NCCCIM, ICSC, TCAR, NCAR, and NAR. She earned her BA in Business Administration and Management from Averett University. Beverly volunteers with the NC Guardian Ad Litem program and is a court appointed advocate for children working to reunite families and find permanency in their young lives.
