Seidel escaped the cold and snow of the Philadelphia Area when he sold his restaurant business, moved to Florida's Gulf Coast and founded American Property Group of Sarasota, 30 years ago. Seidel has earned a solid reputation as an expert in the area's commercial real estate and restaurant markets. He attributes the success of his company to the personalized family-like service he and his staff provide their customers. Seidel is proud of his agents and says they are the Cream of the Crop. "We're simply the best," Seidel says of his Real Estate Company, including himself and his wife, Leslye. Although the staff is of medium size, American Property Group's presence in the market is large and the presence of the Company's red, white, blue and yellow signs everywhere you look bears that out. The American Property Group staff is a group with a strong work ethic and a dedication to the customer - - qualities that have made the Company and its clients successful. In an industry where agents often move from company to company, Seidel says his agents have remained with him for some time. In order for his firm's clients to be best-served, he provides top tools and technology to his valued agents. "We are more personalized, more caring," Seidel says. "We're also established. Dealing primarily with Commercial Real Estate for users and investors as well as sales of our area's finest restaurants, Seidel has an ability to envision growth areas that brings many people to his door. Seidel takes credit for bringing popular national restaurants into Sarasota, like, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, Fleming's Steakhouse, Sweet Tomatoes and Rita's Water Ice, as well as retail businesses such as the Men's Wearhouse, Ritz Camera and Boater's World. Much of his firm's business, however, is with the mom-and-pop restaurants and commercial businesses - - Seidel and his agents understand their clients' needs and matches the business and/or property to the people.
