My Pitch

Professional with extensive experience in business development and financial management, financial analysis, and financial statement preparation. Proven success in building strong business relationships. Extensive involvement in community service, with membership on numerous state and local boards and commissions. Recognized for outstanding interpersonal, communication, and team building skills. Using my project management, business development, academic and CPA background to sell complex real estate properties using accelerated methods of marketing. My forte is analyzing business financial situations and coming up with the correct plan of action for implementing strategic plans. I have worked in auction marketing all over the United States with the nationally renowned auction company Roebuck Auctions and I served four years as principal auctioneer and commercial broker with Rector Phillips Morse/CORFAC International based in Little Rock. I have sold office buildings, entire condo projects, multi-family properties, farm land, medical facilities, development land, sub-divisions, and virtually every kind of real estate. I have utilized traditional and accelerated methods such as auction marketing. My professional experience began with the formation of a CPA firm which grew to be one of the largest in Arkansas. I had a highly diversified client base which included construction companies, hospitals, agricultural companies and farms, and many non-profit entities. After selling my CPA practice, I became vice president of Lyon College, a nationally recognized liberal arts college in Batesville, Arkansas. While serving the college, I headed a for-profit subsidiary that focused on real estate development. This effort resulted in many profitable revenue sources for the college. After six years as vice president of the college, I became a re-developer of historic properties. Typically I would acquire the properties and adaptively re-use them for mixed use. I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Central Arkansas, a BSBA in Accounting from the University of Arkansas, and I’m a non-practicing CPA. I am a Certified Landman (oil and gas designation) and I am a licensed commercial real estate broker and auctioneer in several states. Running is a passion! I have completed around 60 marathons and ultra-marathons.
