Born in Escondido, California, raised in California, and grew up in the Central San Joaquin Valley in Bakersfield and Fresno. I attended both public and private elementary and junior high schools, graduating from Hoover High School in Fresno. Iattended, Fresno City College, Fresno State College. His course studies were music and art. I moved to San Jose, California in 1970, then to Los Gatos, California in 2005, and then to Northern Nevada in 2007. I have two sons Brandon 39 years and Derrick 37 years, two step-sons Tyler 29 years, Austin 26 years and two stepdaughters Liz 29 years and Courtney 24 years. I am married to Susan René Ellis who is a retired Pastor of University Family Fellowship in Sparks, Nevada. Susan continues to write articles and teach classes specializing in spirit filled Christian studies, Community, Family and Relationship topics. We live in Sparks, Nevada. All our children are on their own, pursuing their respective life interests and careers.Susan and I are active alpine skiers with season passes at Mt. Rose; and year-round bike riders. Susan also enjoys, water skiing, paddle boarding, swimming and occasional surfing with our sons in Southern California.We are active in the local Spirit Filled Christian community attending and volunteering for many events. I volunteer my church facilities development and construction experience, and A/V, live performance and Front of House audio mixing experience free of charge to many churches throughout Northern Nevada.
