Coming SoonMelissa Swader is the Director of Marketing & Administration for the largest SVN brokerage in Arizona. She is responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that enhances the organizations image and position within the commercial real estate marketplace. Swader also facilitates all communications and public relation activities and materials including publications, media relations, and serves as a liaison between third party affiliations. In addition, Melissa directs the editorial, design, production and distribution of the organizations brand content and development. She also coordinates media interest and ensures regular contact with target media to provide relevant market trends via media when requested. While her main objectives are focused on the quality of the marketing and company brand, she also makes sure that the organization’s philosophy, mission and vision are pertinent and practiced throughout the organization. In order to maintain strategic perspective, She also implements the appropriate systems and develops and coordinates effective procedures within the organization to create an efficient administrative platform to help support the brokerage teams. Swader comes with vast knowledge in the marketing and graphic design business. She is a graduate of Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ., where she obtained her business license before graduating ASU with a Bachelors of Fine Arts. She started a marketing & design business with no initial capital investment and proceeded to expand her business by producing an exclusive business magazine, where she served as the publisher, editor, and contributing writer for over a combined 18 years in the business. She joined Desert Commercial Advisors in early 2015 in an effort to join marketing forces with other CRE companies to close deals with fashionably quick turnaround times for all of the advisors. She founded a local community Closed Facebook group that is designed to bring thousands of members together to build a better community, support local business owners and their businesses. She also supports charity fundraisers all across the valley. Swader is also the founder for a national commercial real esate Facebook group that is designed specifically for CRE brokers to align forces, seek investments properties and deal-making. Swader was nationally selected as one of The Top 10 + CRE Blogs of 2016 under the category of V.I.P Bloggers/Special Mentions for her nationally recognized work of Most Done Deals and blogs about SVN news. She has been an instrumental part in boosting recognition for SVN advisors who have received Red Awards, Southwest Women of Influence, Outstanding Women in Business, AZ Business Leaders, People & Projects to Know, and was recognized for her 2016 3-page spread in Western Real Estate Business publication for her blog, "Commercial Real Estate: The Emergence of the New Metropolis" among many other published blogs and press work. Melissa has also served as a chairwoman for fundraising events, such as Pepped Up and other non-profit organizations. She is also involved with preparing gift packages and fundraising for US Troops during the Christmas holidays and is a proud supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. Every year, Swader serves as the team Captain and leads the SVN brokerage during the Broker for Kids event; a fundraising event for Boys Hope, Girls Hope. On her personal time, she loves watching and playing sports (especially football season and NCAA March Madness), loves the outdoors, enjoys health & fitness, loves to write and blog about crazy topics and spends whatever free time she has left with family & friends.
