As owner and broker for Sam Robertson Real Estate Co., I have enjoyed a long and diverse career spanning the continental U.S. in both real estate and as a former football coach. Beyond developing and representing commercial properties for a multitude of companies, I have been able to maintain contacts nationwide as a result of my two careers. Prior to my real estate career, I coached college football for twenty plus years at the University of Tennessee, Kansas State University, University of Oregon, Texas Tech University, and as the head football coach at the University of Southwestern Louisiana, now known as the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Coaching gave me an opportunity to meet and become friends with a wide range of very influential business people throughout the country. My real estate career started in 1986, and I developed a strong brokerage firm as broker/owner of Sam Robertson Real Estate Co. in 1988. From inception, the company has been a full service real estate group with a focus on commercial properties, specifically many of the oil and gas service companies including Baker Hughes, Halliburton, Superior Energy, Weatherford, and Schlumberger among others. As you know, I have assisted in the evaluation of Knight Oil Tool properties from Louisiana, to Texas, and Oklahoma.
