Steve Kawulok serves as managing director for Sperry Van Ness/The Group Commercial, LLC, specializing in the sale and leasing of industrial, office, and land property throughout Northern Colorado, including Larimer, Weld, Boulder, and Adams Counties. He is licensed as a employing/responsible broker in Colorado and Wyoming. With more than 25 years of experience, Kawulok has successfully closed more than 200 transactions. He has supervised or participated in over $1 billion of real estate activity over this time period.
Prior to affiliating with Sperry Van Ness, Kawulok served as managing broker of the commercial department for The Group, Inc. Real Estate and as past member of their Board of Directors. Previously Kawulok served as the chief financial officer and head of estimating services for a regional commercial construction firm located in Boulder, Colorado. Kawulok has also served as project manager in the industrial and warehouse property developing sector and as lead manager in property management before entering the brokerage side of the real estate industry.
Kawulok serves on Advisory councils for CoStar Group and Xceligent assisting with area commercial real estate research. He remains active in the industry as a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Colorado Association of Realtors, and the Northern Colorado Commercial Association of Realtors where he served three terms as a director and president. He is on the advisory board of the Everitt / Colorado State University (CSU) Center of Real Estate and BBVA Compass Bank. Kawulok has also earned a Paul Harris Fellowship from Rotary Club International.
Kawulok earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance and a bachelor?s degree in Organizational Management, both from the University of Colorado. He currently resides in Fort Collins CO with his wife Mary, and has two children. He enjoys playing adult-league basketball, exercising with the Pilates method, family events, travel, and participating in community events.
