I've been in the Commercial Real Estate Industry since 2005 with various roles including property management, 5-years of Tenant Rep with UGL-Equis (now Cushman & Wakefield) where I represented users such as: GSA, Sodexo, DaVita and more. I also have experience in Corporate Real Estate with Walmart, the largest holder of real estate. There I had an extensive $8B portfolio with over 44M square feet. I conducted lease negotiations, excess land sales, helped with site selection and the process of developing new stores. I also participated in various projects and initiatives to generate revenue for the company using their real estate such as: cell tower negotiations and revamping the way outlots were sold.
In 2017, I left Corporate Real Estate and returned to full time brokerage in Atlanta, Georgia where I represent private, national and international companies with their real estate needs. In 2019, I became one of the first black female CCIM core course Instructors in the history of the Institute. As of 2022, I serve as President for the Georgia CCIM Chapter Board.
I am passionate about mentorship and educating others in this industry. In 2019, I established a mentorship program between CCIM and REAP which helps to catapult new CRE professionals in their careers. Also annually I am a guest lecturer at Georgia State University in their undergraduate real estate class, as well as their Masters of Real Estate Program.
Outside of real estate production awards, in 2021 I made Otso's list of" Influential Woman in Commercial Real Estate" and was honored with a host of other women around the country on International Women's Day. In 2021 I was a nominee for WLI's "The Leaders Award". In 2020, I was named "Broker of the Year-Tenant Rep" and a "Commercial Real Estate Woman of Influence" by Globestreet. In 2019 I was a recipient of the Connect Media's "Woman in Commercial Real Estate Award" recognized as a Regional and National Leader in the Industry.
