Jim Guisewhite’s background in retail management gives him a ground up look at real estate from both sides of the deal. Jim spent 28 years with Kinney Shoe Corporation in many facets of management from Manager to Regional Vice President. Jim moved on to Candies, Inc, as the VP Retail Operations. During his 7 years with Candies, he helped guide the company from 1 store to a chain of 27 stores, located in both regional fashion shopping centers and outlet centers. Jim was responsible for retail operations including; personnel, sales, real estate site selection, store design and construction. Jim Guisewhite’s well rounded management and operations background made it very simple to flow from Retail to Real Estate Brokerage. Jim moved full-time to real estate in 2004, where he specialized in as a tenant representative working with William Crisp Realty. Jim’s tenant list included nationally known companies such as; Foot Locker, 1-800-Mattress, Solana Medspa, Qdoba Mexican Grill and MaggieMoos Ice Cream & Treatery to highlight a few. Jim Guisewhite joined Coldwell Banker Commercial Capitol Realty Services in 2007. Jim was interested in expanding his skills beyond his specialty real estate status to a more generalist capacity. Listing, selling, leasing or investment consulting, Jim has taken an aggressive approach to getting results for his clients. Jim brings his management experience and real estate finesse to SVN as the Managing Director / Principal Broker for the Winchester office.
