Chris Davis serves as a Senior Advisor for Sperry Van Ness Miller Commercial Real Estate Company in Salisbury, Maryland and also with Sperry Van Ness Investec located in Jacksonville, Florida.
Davis specializes in self storage facilities, hospitality, and industrial properties in Maryland and is also involved in properties in Northeast Florida. Sperry Van Ness has appointed Chris to be part of the Sperry Van Ness Self Storage National Team and also a member of the Sperry Van Ness Florida Hospitality Team. With over 22 years of experience in the real estate business, Davis has developed or brokered over $150 million in volume. “This is the only business I have ever been in since being 24 years old and straight out of college. I have been in all aspects of the business including brokering, developing, financing, operations and consulting. I have been through the highs and lows of this great business which I pass my experiences to my clients, many brokers can’t do that.”
Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Davis was in many partnerships in development projects and owned Davis Properties Inc. and Davis Development Company, LLC which developed and owned many types of commercial properties such as: business/office parks, climate controlled self storage facilities, shopping centers, a large wedding/hospitality facility, warehouse/manufacturing buildings and age restricted retirement communities. Davis also brokered many retail and industrial properties for developers and owners in Maryland.
Davis majored in marketing at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and has served on community boards such as the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce and The Salisbury School a private college preparatory school. He is married and has two sons and now lives in Salisbury, Maryland.
