Full Profile
Seth Polen was born and raised in Albany, New York. He attended the prestigious Albany Academy before heading west to attend San Diego State University as a Division I Track and Field 800m runner. While developing himself into an Olympic caliber athlete, Seth also developed his interests in real estate. He prepared himself to succeed outside of the world of athletics with a degree in Urban Planning.
Mr. Polen attributes his success in commercial real estate to the levels of discipline and self expectation that he developed as a Division I athlete at San Diego State University. During his career as an 800-meter runner, while competing alongside world-class Olympic athletes, he developed the drive and determination that exists at the heart of all successful entrepreneurs.
He began his career in commercial real estate over eighteen years ago and quickly realized his potential as a top quality brokerage professional. He was repeatedly recognized by his firm as a top producing Agent. During his career, Seth has listed and closed over 3,000 units’ worth over $500 million throughout the greater Los Angeles area. Mr. Polen as an Investor / Developer repositioned 31,000 square feet of light industrial property taking a single tenant asset and converting it into a 16 unit NNN Creative Flex property. Throughout the reposition process, Mr. Polen quickly became well versed and connected in construction entitlements, landlord-tenant relations, and landlord-community relations. He became deeply involved in the community in which the property resides, and now sits as President of the Historic Lincoln Heights Industrial Business Improvement District. During his tenure, Seth has overseen the expansion of the BID to include the surrounding neighborhood. Mr. Polen also recently repositioned another 55,350 square foot single tenant property into a multi-tenant (39 units) creative flex property in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles Artist District and the Los Angeles River.
Mr. Polen resides in the San Gabriel Valley with his wife Nina, their daughter Adriana, and their son Nicholas.
