In September of 2013 Cindy McDonnell Feinberg co-founded Feinberg Real Estate Advisors, LLC, a real estate brokerage firm specializing in commercial and industrial brokerage, investment sales, development counseling, government relations, real estate law, closings and title insurance.
Cindy McDonnell Feinberg is the former Director of Community and Economic Development for the County of Lehigh. She was responsible for Lehigh Countyā€™s community and economic development programs, regional partnerships, government relations, urban revitalization, job creation, grants, affordable housing programs and quality of life programs. She managed programs fostering regional cooperation with Lehigh Countyā€™s 25 local municipalities and provided linkages between Lehigh Valley, regional, state and federal governments, nonprofits and local businesses. She was instrumental in recruiting many new businesses including Ocean Spray, Avantor Performance Materials, The Boston Beer Company and Hillwood Development, a Perot Company resulting in thousands of new jobs over a period of almost eight years. She has been involved in projects utilizing Tax Increment Financing (TIF), Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZs), brownfield redevelopment and other CRE projects in Allentown and Bethlehem.
Prior to her confirmation as the Director of Community and Economic Development for Lehigh County, she was a Director for Markward Group, a commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, commercial, industrial and retail sales and leasing. She has been involved in commercial real estate development in the Lehigh Valley and Harrisburg and is an active member of various real estate organizations. Cindy previously worked for twenty-three years in the computer industry where she was a global account manager for a fortune 25 company.
Cindy holds the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute an affiliate of the National Association of RealtorsĀ®. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation and investment analysis and form a business network encompassing 1,000 markets throughout North America. Cindy obtained her MBA from DeSales University and graduated with a BA in Political Science and BS in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh.
Cindy is a founding member of Crew Network Lehigh Valley. She serves on the boards of the Lehigh Northampton Airport Authority and Chairs the Lehigh County Industrial Development Authority. She was also an active board member of the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission, Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board, Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, Allentown Economic Development Corporation and Ethics in the Workplace. She previously served on the Board of Directors for Turning Point Lehigh Valley, the Salisbury Township School District Board, the Carbon Lehigh Intermediate Unit #21, representing the Salisbury School Board and facilitated the reestablishment of the Salisbury Education Foundation.
