I have a broad range of managerial and sales expertise, with a special emphasis on commercial investment sales, commercial development, rezoning, and industrial sales and leasing. I also bring to the table years of experience in property management. Ranging from a 12,500 sf retail center to a 272,000 sf industrial park. Dave has over forty years of experience in both residential and commercial real estate. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Eastern Michigan University, received his license as a Broker in the State of Michigan in 1974, and has completed numerous professional certification courses, including real estate principles and practices, real estate law, and real estate finance. He joined Swisher Commercial in 1992. Dave’s professional affiliations include designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), as well as membership/Emeritus status in the National Association of Realtor and membership in State of Michigan Association of Realtors and Commercial Board of Realtors. He has been actively involved with the Ann Arbor Area Board of Realtors for more than 25 years, serving as President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Board Member. He was voted Realtor of the Year in 1980. Dave lives in the Ypsilanti area with his family and enjoys such outdoor activities as fishing, hunting, hiking, camping, and photography.
