Full Bio: A generalist in the depth of market knowledge, and present commercial uses within the broader market, my field of specialty will focus in the analysis and application of uses within the field of industrial properties. However, I also have a respectable focus on the other commercial applications such as retail and office uses. Most successful in the field of engineering and manufacturing management, with 36 years of application experience in analysis and application of systems and processes of a wide industrial nature, provides me with the tools that can be applied to the position with Sperry Van Ness in the analytical application of the brokerage of commercial real estate and most particularly in the field of industrial uses. My experience in the specialty field was gained through employment with such notable companies as Newell Rubbermaid, O'Sullivan Rubber (Gulfstream Division), Federal Mogul and Remy International. Full Bio: Jim Guisewhite’s background in retail management gives him a ground up look at real estate from both sides of the deal. Jim spent 28 years with Kinney Shoe Corporation in many facets of management from Manager to Regional Vice President. Jim moved on to Candies, Inc, as the VP Retail Operations. During his 7 years with Candies, he helped guide the company from 1 store to a chain of 27 stores, located in both regional fashion shopping centers and outlet centers. Jim was responsible for retail operations including; personnel, sales, real estate site selection, store design and construction. Jim Guisewhite’s well rounded management and operations background made it very simple to flow from Retail to Real Estate Brokerage. Jim moved full-time to real estate in 2004, where he specialized in as a tenant representative working with William Crisp Realty. Jim’s tenant list included nationally known companies such as; Foot Locker, 1-800-Mattress, Solana Medspa, Qdoba Mexican Grill and MaggieMoos Ice Cream & Treatery to highlight a few.
