Mr. McQuaid attended Arizona State University where he studied Business. Upon leaving Arizona State University, Mr. McQuaid was hired as Area Manager for Yoshis Food Inc. for their Japanese Restaurant chain. In 1994 Mr. McQuaid opened a franchise of Yoshis Japanese Food in the Arizona Market and in 1997 opened a second location. After almost nine years in the fast-paced restaurant industry Mr. McQuaid sold his restaurants to focus on real estate full time. In 2000, Mr. McQuaid worked with Southwest Retail Group in Scottsdale, AZ as a real estate sales and leasing agent. Mr. McQuaid's primary responsibilities included marketing, leasing and sales of commercial properties and shopping centers. Mr. McQuaid also worked closely with Tenants such as Hollywood Video, Coffee Plantation, Dunkin Donuts and many more negotiating letters of intent and leases and helping with their expansion needs. During this time Peter also got experience in the development niche of real estate. Starting in 2003, Mr. McQuaid joined The Focus Group to specialize in the development of single tenant and multi-tenant build-to-suit opportunities and take advantage of his experience and relationships. Mr. McQuaid joined De Rito Partners, Inc in 2010 and will focus on expanding his tenant and landlord representation as well as being involved in the development aspect of leasing deals.
