Combining his experience, knowledge & strong work ethic, Sean Bishop has been involved in various aspects of commercial real estate in the Phoenix area since 1999.
In the summer of 2008, Sean Bishop co-founded Middlefork Commercial, LLC, a full service commercial real estate company located in Phoenix, Arizona. As a Principal and Designated Broker, he plays a crucial role in acquisitions, leasing and property management.
Prior to MFC, Bishop worked with a large, regional commercial management company in Phoenix as a Property Manager, where he developed his skills through tenant relations, owner’s goals and objectives, vendor negotiations and contracts, as well as, developing the skills to operate a property both from a financial and operational standpoint. He managed a Phoenix office and retail portfolio with 13 properties totaling over 350,000SF.
Bishop became an Associate Broker in 2003, where he strategically expanded the company’s financial revenue by planning, developing, and successfully implementing a brokerage division employing six licensed agents and brokers. While under Bishop’s direction, the brokerage division’s revenue increased every year and achieved gross revenues of over $1 million.
During 2005 and 2006, as a 50% partner and investor, Bishop was involved in a $3 million, ground-up development of a single tenant NNN retail property in Anthem, Arizona. To date, he continues to be involved in several developments and value-added opportunities from both a principal and broker perspective.
As a Leasing and Sales Agent, with a small commercial firm, Bishop worked primarily as an exclusive office and retail tenant’s agent, from 1999 to 2001.
Bishop’s interest in real estate began in 1997, while attending the University of Idaho, where he researched property ownership and reviewed title insurance policies at a local title company. In May of 1999, Bishop relocated to Phoenix to attend the Arizona State University Real Estate Program, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate in 2001.
Also in 2001, Bishop earned the exclusive designation as a CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), a recognized expert in the disciplines of commercial and investment real estate. Since then, he has actively served in various leadership roles.
