Tyler Rhoades joined MedSouth as a broker in 2018 specializing in healthcare real estate brokerage and investment acquisitions for the firm. After completing a year of medical school, Tyler decided to pursue the business side of medicine and studied commercial real estate and development at the University of Missouri (KC) where he earned his Master of Science in Real Estate with an emphasis in healthcare administration and development. Prior to attending medical school, Tyler worked in clinical operations at Oklahoma Pain Management and Research where he specialized in coverage negotiations with insurance companies and advised physicians on insurance coverage procedures for on-going patient care. As an undergraduate, Tyler worked as an Emergency Medical Technician where he conducted 12-Lead ECG research for EMS agencies with the emergency medicine department at the University of Oklahoma School of Community Medicine. Tyler is published in the Canadian Journal of Emergency Medicine, Journal of the American College of Cardiology, and Academic Emergency Medicine Journal. Tyler is excited about using his extensive medical background to serve physicians, healthcare systems, and investors across the Southeastern United States and making relationships with clients as he works to build his portfolio of business. ?Tyler holds a M.S. in Real Estate with a healthcare emphasis from the University of Missouri (KC) and a B.S. with Special Distinction in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma. Tyler completed his year of medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
