Full Bio: Fresh out of college in 1998 I went to work for a small commercial real estate firm who gave me Elk Grove Village as my territory to represent. Armed with a new pair of shoes, some flyers and shiny new business cards I set out to knock doors to drum up new business. Technology was scarce back then and the company lacked internet and cell phones so I learned the old fashioned way of farming a territory and becoming an expert in the largest industrial park in the country. Steve specializes in the industrial market in Downstate Illinois, leveraging experience gained over the course of his career prior to joining BARBERMURPHY, during which he sold industrial equipment to manufacturing facilities throughout the Midwest. Working and focusing specifically on the industrial real estate sector for more than a decade, Steve has gained a dynamic and comprehensive view of the Downstate Illinois market.
